Showcase, music school scheduled

BirdMan Coffee in St. Francisville is presenting a songwriter showcase at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 7, and a music school Saturday, July 7, and Sunday, July 8.
The songwriter showcase features Heather Feierabend, Alan Morton, Clay Parker, Jodi James, Lee Barber, Martin Flanagan and Patrick Sylvest.
Instructors for the music school include Morton, mandolin; Mark Raborn, banjo; David Hinson, upright bass; Feierabend, voice; and Sylvest, dobro.
Activities also include an ensemble jam session and concert by music school participants.
