Advocate staff report Oct. 12, 2014 Comments The Louisiana International Film Festival is presenting a free advance screening of Richard Linklater’s acclaimed new film, “Boyhood,” at 7 p.m. Thursday at Cinemark Perkins Rowe, 10000 Perkins Rowe. “Boyhood” was shot over a period of 12 years with the same principal cast, Ethan Hawke, Patricia Arquette, Lorelei Linklater and Ellar Coltrane. The first 50 guests who arrive at the screening will received a pair of “Boyhood” glasses. LIFF will also give away a poster autographed by the film’s director. Seats are available through the festival’s at lifilmfest.org.
