Symphony’s Chamber Series will open Nov. 1

Tickets are on sale for the first performance in the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra’s 2012-13 Lamar Family Chamber Series at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, in the Manship Theatre in the Shaw Center for the Arts, 100 Lafayette St.

The performance will feature the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra Chamber Players conducted by Music Director Timothy Muffitt.

The Chamber Season opens with music from the Baroque era, 1600-1750.

Tickets are $25. Student tickets will be $10 at the door. Season tickets are $60. Senior and student season ticket discounts are available.
