Batman vehicles on tour

Photo by STEPHEN VAUGHAN -- The Tumbler, driven by actor Christian Bale in The Dark Knight, will be part of the Batmobile Tour stopping in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

The Batmobile Tour comes to the LSU Parade Grounds at Highland Road and Raphael Semmes Road, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3.

The tour moves to the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5.

The tour features vehicles from the following: the 1960s, Adam West-starring Batman TV series; 1989 and 1992 Batman movies starring Michael Keaton; 1995’s Batman Forever starring Val Kilmer; 1997’s Batman & Robin starring George Clooney; and the Christopher Nolan-directed trilogy of Batman films starring Christian Bale that culminated with last summer’s The Dark Knight Rises.

The Dark Knight Rises B lu-ray combo pack, to be released Dec. 4, includes the hour-long The Batmobile documentary.

Admission to the exhibit is free.
