FRIDAY-SATURDAY, JULY 27-28
- FELICIANA HUMMINGBIRD CELEBRATION: Wine and cheese reception and stroll around the grounds, 6 p.m. Friday, Rosedown Plantation State Historic Site, 12501 La. 10, St. Francisville. Speaker will begin at 6:45 p.m. two home and garden locations, St. Francisville. Sponsored by the Feliciana Nature Society. From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Bird banding and hummingbird-attractive plant sale, gardens of Carlisle Rogillio, 15736 La. 66 and Murrell Butler, 9485 Oak Hill Road. Also, St. Mary’s Episcopal Church and Cemetery will be open for rare tours during the festival.
