Superfest two-day attendance reaches 75,000

Bayou Country Superfest drew 75,000 people to LSU’s Tiger Stadium during Memorial Day weekend, matching last year’s attendance. Patrons traveled from as far away as Canada, Mexico, France and Norway to attend. Shown above, Saturday and Sunday headliners Keith Urban ( in Tiger Stadium with Little Big Town) and Rascal Flatts took the stage at 10 p.m., after The Advocate’s next-day coverage deadline.

“The success of the third annual Bayou Country Superfest is a testament to the festival’s growing reputation as a special weekend of music, fun and Southern hospitality,” Superfest producer-director Quint Davis said. “Bayou Country Superfest is a festival with a very bright future.”
