- SHADOWS CIVIL WAR ENCAMPMENT: 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Shadows-on-the-Teche, 317 E. Main St., New Iberia. Visitors can observe living historians re-creating experiences of soldiers and citizens during the Civil War and a view of what a local election might have been like in 1862. (337) 369-6446.
