Baton Rouge police early Sunday arrested a man accused of shoving a shotgun in another man’s face and robbing him of some narcotics in April 2007.
Police booked Michael G. Bell, 39, 3860 Brady St., Baton Rouge, into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on counts of armed robbery, according to a warrant.
Exactly how police located Bell more than six years after the alleged robbery occurred remained unclear Sunday afternoon.
Bell is accused of breaking into a residence in the 800 block of Progress Street on April 26, 2007, along with another man, and robbing the victim at gunpoint of dozens of pills, the warrant says.
It is unclear what happened to Bell’s alleged accomplice, Joshua J. Dunkin, 29, who is identified in Bell’s warrant.
