PAPILLION, Neb. — Nick Green drilled the first pitch of the ninth inning for a home run to snap a tie and give the New Orleans Zephyrs a 6-5 win over the Omaha Storm Chasers on Wednesday.

The Zephyrs (66-66), who have won five of their last six games, took advantage of two sixth inning errors and scored four runs to take a 5-2 lead over Omaha.

The Chasers rallied as former Zephyrs Brett Hayes and Gorkys Hernandez hit home runs for Omaha. Hayes drilled a solo home run in the fifth inning and added a two-run shot in the seventh. Hernandez tied the game with a solo blast in the seventh.

Adam Reifer earned the win and Chris Hatcher sent Omaha down in order in the ninth for his 32nd save.
