Summer Chustz Russum has been named community relations coordinator at Lane Home Health in Zachary, responsible for overall marketing efforts and business development. Russum was the corporate health consultant for the Lane Regional Medical Center WellnessWorks program.

Terrie Sterling, of Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, has been elected chairwoman of the Capital Area American Heart Association/American Stroke Association board of directors.

Other officers are Dr. Brian Swirsky, president; Dr. Steven Kelley, president-elect; and William “Bill” Holman, leadership development chairman. Other board members include Dr. David Carmouche, Kerry Drake, Trey Godfrey, Terry Hill, Debra Lockwood, Jamie Schlottman, Dr. Robert “Bob” St. Amant and Thomas Temple.

Craig Colten has been named director of human dimensions at the Water Institute of the Gulf to help coastal communities adapt and respond to environmental changes and natural disasters.

Colten also serves as the Carl O. Sauer professor in LSU’s Department of Geography and Anthropology.

New Orleans

Risa Hall has been named director of community affairs for the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation. Hall was director for the 2013 NCAA Women’s Final Four Host Committee Inc., and has more than three years of experience working with the NCAA on Men’s and Women’s Final Four events.

Jacqueline Adams has been named assistant news director for WWL-TV.

Adams was director of marketing promotions for Turner Digital in Atlanta, and had been with Channel 4 as a special projects producer in 1995.
