Attorney Elliott Atkinson spoke about subdivision legal issues to the Federation of Greater Baton Rouge Civic Associations on Aug. 8. The federation represents area homeowners associations.
Meeting are held at the BREC Tennis Center, 7505 Independence Blvd., at 7 p.m. on the second Thursday of each month. The next meeting is scheduled for Sept. 12.
The Brusly Lions Club has elected officers for 2013-14: Melvin Abbott, president, Steve Guidry, vice president; Steve Wallace, secretary; and John Gossman, treasurer.
