Tell us about what you’re wearing: “I’m wearing a black vintage strapless jumpsuit with a sweetheart neckline, Jeffrey Campbell suede ankle-strap pumps and a milk bead collar necklace by Natasha.”

What’s the best fashion advice you’ve ever gotten? “It’s all about mixing and matching to maximize your wardrobe … old and new, expensive pieces with less expensive items, and making them your own.”

What’s your favorite fashion trend right now? “Clothing wise, I don’t really follow trends. I wear whatever feels right to me. Right now, my trend is more of a hair thing. Red hair is big right now — all shades of it. Redheads are said to be strong women who can endure more.”

I splurge on … “I splurge on a good handbag that I can carry for a while and get lots of use out of.”

I skimp on … “I skimp on little layering pieces like Hanes tank tops to go under something.”

Are you a shoe or handbag woman? “Well, since I invest in a handbag to last, I guess I’m more of a shoe girl. I guess I probably have about 50 pair but only about 10 in rotation.”

Name a celebrity whose closet you’d like to raid. “It’d definitely have to be someone that’s probably dead because I love vintage looks so much. Probably someone like Vivian Leigh, Scarlet O’Hara of ‘Gone with the Wind,’ or Eva Gabor or the character Daisy Buchanan from ‘The Great Gatsby’ … someone like that.”

What’s the one beauty product you can’t live without? “Definitely, definitely my face wash. I’m a face wash junkie! I go back and forth between Cetaphil, Lamar Cleansing Film and Rhonda Allison Pumpkin Cleanser. I guess you can say I love the ritual of washing my face at night … kind of washing away the day.”

Your house is on fire and you grab one thing; what would it be? “I guess I’d have to say my undergarments. I’m like the French women, my undergarments have to match. It just makes me feel good. It’s the base of the rest of my ensemble.”
