• Hats Off to Honey: Jolly Jam: The inaugural Jolly Fest, “A Jolly Jam,” featured musicians and performing artists celebrating the life of the late Olive “Honey” LeRouge, mother of Pat Jolly.
• Flappers and Divas: The Junior Committee of the Women’s Guild of the New Orleans Opera Association hosted “Putting on the Ritz” to celebrate the kickoff of the new opera season. The Roaring 20s-themed summer party was held at the Opera Guild Home.
• Doo Wop Shop: The Akula Foundation held a sock hop at Rock ‘n’ Bowl to support hospice services and grief counseling. Vintage cars complemented the retro bowling scene.
