Free styles, haircuts

Anointed Hands Salon & More’s annual Back-to-School in Style event kicks off at noon Sunday at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center’s gym.

The success of the annual event, which provides free haircuts for boys and styles for girls, prompted organizers to move to a larger location.

This year’s event is sponsored in part by local community organizations and businesses. In addition to the free hair services, children ages 5 to 15 can take part in games and activities.
