The St. Amant High Golden Gator marching band has been hard at work this summer preparing for the upcoming marching season.
Throughout the summer, several camps were held for band members and the color guard, which number nearly 300 members.
For the past two weeks, the band and color guard have been learning music and marching routines.
The continued growth of the band has necessitated the addition of a third band director. Andrew Graham has joined Craig Millet and Joey Nasser as band directors. Stephanie Gill serves as color guard director.
This year’s drum majors are Mallory Ducharme, Mason Westbrook and Abigail Lambert.
The band will hold an exhibition performance at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in The Pit.
