In years past we took into account the man we were voting for. Nowadays that’s all but impossible to do. We might vote for the man, but he turns around and votes quite often the party view at the expense of his constituents. We’ve seen this many times in the past five years.
Politicians are scared to death of upsetting their party at the expense of the people who sent them there. Lately these “Johnny Jump Ships” have used one party to get elected then all of a sudden developed a “change of heart” to the other side.
It’s about time we put an end to this situation. You want to change, do it at election time. Let the people know where you really stand. Not where they thought you stood.
