Playmakers of Baton Rouge visited the Ascension Parish Library’s Galvez branch July 18 as part of the professional theater company’s summer tour.

Playmakers, a theater company designed for young audiences, has been touring south Louisiana with its Summer Neighborhood tour since 1983. The production is written, designed and performed by local artists from the Baton Rouge area.
