Chicken Tomato Pasta
Serves 4 to 6. Recipe is by Julie Kay.
4 to 6 chicken breasts or thighs
4 large fresh tomatoes
1 onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 (6-oz.) can tomato paste
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. sugar
Cooked angel hair pasta
1. Put chicken into slow cooker.
2. Put tomatoes, onion, celery, bell pepper, tomato paste and seasonings into blender.
3. Puré e and pour over chicken in slow cooker. Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
4. Serve over cooked angel hair pasta.
