CLINTON — Sheriff’s deputies developed additional leads to arrest a Clinton man Tuesday who was an initial suspect in an April 30 burglary, a spokesman for East Feliciana Parish Sheriff Talmadge Bunch said.
Kyle A. Bryant, 24, 8076 Smith Road, was suspected in the burglary because his vehicle and license plate number were similar to those seen at the burglary scene, sheriff’s Sgt. Kevin Garig said.
Bryant was booked with one count of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling after deputies used witness statements and video footage from a store to arrest and book him for theft of less than $500 and forgery of a stolen check that was cashed at the store, Garig said.
