He was taken to a hospital where he later died.

The man is described as between 16 and 18 years old, about 5 feet, 6 inches with a medium build and dark complexion. His left eye is smaller than his right eye.
He was wearing a purple short sleeve shirt with gold writing, red underwear with gold writing, black basketball shorts and Nike slippers, the police said.
Police released a computer composite sketch of the man on Tuesday.

Lightning blasted a hole in a home Tuesday near Covington but left the four occupants unharmed, fire officials said.
A resident of the Penn Mill Lakes subdivision northeast of Covington reported the strike at about 7:40 Tuesday morning, said James Hartman, a spokesman for St. Tammany Fire District No. 12.
When firefighters responded, they found a 6-inch vent had been knocked from the siding near the roof, marks on the floor and a 2-inch hole in the home’s back door.
“I’ve seen lightning do some weird stuff, but this wasn’t even burned,” Fire Chief Eric Rodick said. “It was a strange call.”
Firefighters scanned the house for hidden hot spots, but found nothing, Rodick said.
Homes in the Penn Mill Lakes subdivision, with few trees, are struck more frequently than other places in the district, Rodick said.
A man armed with a knife approached a 25-year-old woman in the 2000 block of Gentilly Boulevard on Monday night and demanded her money and fast food.
She complied, according to police reports, and the man “rode off on his bicycle.”
