Restaurant R’evolution, 777 Bienville St., New Orleans, is adding live jazz music for its Sunday brunch beginning July 14.
The restaurant at Royal Sonesta Hotel also has set summer hours effective until Sept. 17. Sunday brunch will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; lunch, Thursday and Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; and dinner, Sunday through Thursday from 5:30 p.m.

The Steamboat Natchez has added a brunch menu to its Sunday jazz cruises.
The menu will feature classic New Orleans dishes and other favorites, such as Creole shrimp and pasta salad; cheese grits; roasted chicken sauce piquant; house-cured ham and bacon; and bread pudding.
The Sunday jazz brunch cruise is $38.50 for adults, $20.25 for ages 6-12 and $8 for ages 2-5. It departs from the dock at Toulouse Street and the Mississippi River at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Whataburger is offering fresh avocado to add to any of its menu items. To celebrate, it’s also offering for a limited time its new avocado bacon burger.
A news release said the addition of avocado to the menu is the result of customer requests.
Whataburger restaurants are located in Baton Rouge, Gonzales and Lafayette.
Drago’s Seafood Restaurant’s Metairie location will donate all of its July 14 sales proceeds to Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana in celebration of Drago Cvitanovich’s 91st birthday, said owner/manager Tommy Cvitanovich.
He said the family would like to make a tradition of charitable events on Drago Cvitanovich’s birthday.
“Seeing the tremendous amount of support for my father’s 90th birthday last year inspired us to create another event this year,” Tommy Cvitanovich said in a news release. “Being able to help Second Harvest combat hunger in south Louisiana is better than the actual birthday itself.”
Drago’s Metairie location will be open and accepting donations from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 14. Its full menu will be available for guests dining inside and family pack meals to-go will be offered outside the restaurant.
