Tell us about what you’re wearing.

”A dress from the Caché 2013 spring/summer collection with Michael Kors black-patent sandals, red-patent purse that was a birthday gift from friend Lorri Mayhall and Ippolita pearl earrings and diamond bangle bracelets from Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry.”

What’s the best fashion advice you’ve ever gotten?

“It’s from my late mother, Sue Preis, ‘Stylish hair, flattering makeup, a big smile and a kind heart will make you glow every day!’”

What’s your favorite fashion trend right now?

“Ankle-strap sandals, two-tone sunglasses and those fabulous color-block, structured dresses.”

Finish this sentence. I splurge on ...

“Workout clothes, such as Lululemon. They are THE BEST, and my daughter-in-law sells this line at her studio. People make the mistake of wearing their rattiest clothes to the gym and then wonder why they aren’t excited to exercise!”

Are you a shoe or handbag kind of woman?

“A shoe person.”

How many pairs do you own?

“As many as the shelves in my closet can hold, but I have a rule — If I buy a new pair, I must give an old pair away.”

Name a celebrity whose closet you’d like to raid.

“Robin Wright Penn’s wardrobe on the Netflix series ‘House of Cards.’”

What’s the one beauty product you can’t live without?

“There are too many to name. I’m old and need all the help I can get!!!”

What was your worst fashion mistake?

“It was in the ‘dark ages’ ... 1984. I was on the Best Dressed list, and we were told to dress reflecting our favorite hobbies. I appeared on the front page of the Morning Advocate’s ‘Society Page’ in a black and pink, horizontal-striped leotard, pink leg warmers and pink tights — no kidding!!!”

Your house is on fire and you can grab only one thing out of your closet; what would it be?

“Any of my visiting grandchildren who go in there to find J.J.’s candy and my diamond engagement ring that my husband gave me more than 40 years ago.”
