West Feliciana deputies to question others in theft, teen party

West Feliciana Parish sheriff’s deputies have more people to question about the theft of alcohol from a bar and an all-night party involving teenagers, Sheriff J. Austin Daniel said Friday.

Two people have been arrested as a result of the two incidents, which deputies continued to investigate Friday.

Daniel said after the burglary of Ray’s Lounge, 13291 U.S. 61 , was reported about 9 p.m. Tuesday, someone reported seeing a person unconscious in the yard of a Wells Road residence in Tunica at 5 a.m. Wednesday.

When deputies arrived at the residence, they found at least nine people, including juveniles, in various states of intoxication, Daniel said They also found a flat-screen television set, food and alcoholic beverages reported stolen from the bar during the burglary.

Deputies booked Calvin Green, 19, 12968 U.S. 61, on Wednesday with simple burglary and contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile. A 16-year-old boy arrested on a count of simple burglary was being held at a juvenile detention center in St. James Parish, Daniel said.
