AVONDALE — A quick look at Friday’s second round of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans at the 7,341-yard, par-72 TPC Louisiana.

LEADING: Lucas Glover posted a 5-under 67 to take the lead at 12-under 132 after 36 holes.

LURKING: Boo Weekley (68-133) is one shot back at 133, D.A. Points (68) stands at 134, Morgan Hoffman (69) at 135 and Ernie Els (69) at 136. Another five players are in the hunt at 137, including Justin Rose (69).

WHERE’S GUAN TIANLANG? He’s still in the tournament after carding a 3-under 69 that leaves him nine shots off the pace. The 14-year-old amateur from China hit the cut on the nose at 3-under 141.

SHOT OF THE DAY: Weekley holed a 56-degree wedge from 105 yards for an eagle at the 384-yard, par-4 10th, his first hole of the round.

WRONG-WAY BARNES: First-round leader Ricky Barnes went from an opening round 8-under 64 to a tie for 36th at 140 after shooting 4-over 76.

NOTABLE CUTS: K.J. Choi, Keegan Bradley, Camilo Villegas, Patrick Reed, Michael Thompson, Andres Romero, Jake Narro, Johnson Wagner, Justin Leonard and Robert Allenby.
