Two more days to bring your dancing shoes and a hearty appetite to downtown Lafayette for the 27th Festival International de Louisiane.
Formed in 1986, the 2013 Festival International de Louisiane is a community-based, non-profit arts organization celebrating the French cultural heritage of southern Louisiana, a combination of French, African, Caribbean, and Hispanic influences.
The festival is free at venues in downtown Lafayette with a shuttle service available from Cajun Field to downtown Lafayette.

The festival shuttle will run Thursday, April 25, through Sunday, April 28, with a pickup location at Cajun Field on the corner of Congress and Cajundome Boulevard. The downtown drop-off location is on the corner of Jefferson Street and Lee Avenue near the Festival Volunteer Center Thursday through Sunday.
A new location at Garfield and Buchanan streets, near Americas Coffeehouse, has been added for Friday and Saturday nights.
Shuttle service start 30 minutes before Festival performances begin each day and end 30 minutes after the last performance of the evening. The shuttles run every 15 minutes from the start time until the last pick up.
Saturday, April 27: 10:30 a.m. - Midnight. Last shuttle leaves downtown at 8 p.m.
Sunday, April 28: 10:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Last shuttle leaves downtown at 11:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 27: 7:30 p.m. - Midnight. Last shuttle leaves downtown at Midnight.
This year’s line-up includes: The Wailers, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Sergent Garcia, Red Baarat, Fatoumata Diarwara and Oliver Mtukudzi & the Black Sprits. More than 100 performances are scheduled over 5 days.
