The Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce will host a Business and Community Expo from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. May 7 at the Suma Center, 28975 S. Satsuma Road.
The job and career fair will include health screenings, food samplings and a live radio remote from Kajun 107.1.

The public is invited to take part in the opening night celebration of the “Bead Town Denham Springs” art exhibit from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. May 3 at Old City Hall, 115 Mattie St.
The event will include the unveiling of more than 60 pieces of mosaic bead art that represent Louisiana scenes and lifestyles , organizers said. Visitors can meet the artist and enjoy music by Rosie and the Swingin’ Riveters. The exhibit will run May 3 through June 16, seven days a week. Admission is free.
Mattie Street will be closed for the May 3 opening, and local artists will present a show and sale in the street. Any Livingston Parish artist in any media may participate free-of-charge but registration is required. The exhibit and refreshments are free but attendees are asked to bring and donate their Mardi Gras beads so they can be transformed into pieces of art.
The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Applications are available starting Monday for the Denham Springs Police Summer Day Camp, Latch-Key Academy, at the Police Department, 447 Lamm St.
The camp, open to youths ages 8 to 11, offers fun activities and educational classes with an emphasis on safety, organizers said. The camp is from June 3 to June 6. Participants can celebrate Earth Day by making a green all-purpose cleaner at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Denham Springs-Walker Branch of the Livingston Parish Library, 8101 U.S. 190. The cleaner contains natural ingredients, is not harmful to the environment and smells great, organizers said. Registration is required by calling (225) 665-8118.
Warsaw Marina, 31803 Tetanne Drive, will host the 12th annual Blessing of the Fleet Festival at 1 p.m. Saturday. All proceeds will benefit the Springfield Fire Department.
The fourth annual Dog Wash fundraiser and pet adoption is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at LuLu’s Groom and Board, 19096 Florida Blvd., Albany. Baths and nail filing are $5 to $10.
