NEW ORLEANS — The Junior League of New Orleans will hold its eighth annual kitchen tour Saturday, featuring 12 homes in the Garden District and Uptown neighborhoods of New Orleans.
Thursday marks the Cocktails and Cuisine Kick-Off, an annual gala that kicks off the tour and recognizes the Kitchen Tour homeowners. The gala is held at the New Orleans Board of Trade. The festive, semiformal ticketed event is open to the public and features food by Pigeon Catering, live music by Groovy 7, an exclusive raffle of two-carat diamond hoop earrings from Wellington & Company Fine Jewelry and an auction .
Tickets to the Kitchen Tour are $35 and tickets to the Cocktails and Cuisine Gala are $100 per person or $150 per couple.

Kitchen Tour tickets will also be sold at each home on the day of the tour for $40. Special Tour packages are available online.
Proceeds from the events will benefit the League’s community projects, serving the at-risk population of metropolitan New Orleans through charter school outreach, nutritional programming, children’s health services and youth development.
