Michael Kaller has been named vice president of the LSU chapter of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, headquartered in Baton Rouge. Kaller is assistant research professor and coordinator of undergraduate programs in LSU’s School of Renewable Natural Resources and associate rector of the Agriculture Residence College.

Darienne Wilson Mobley, co-executive director of the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association, has been elected to serve on the U.S. Travel Association’s board of directors.

LAFAYETTE AREA

Knight Oil Tools in Lafayette has named Mickey Broussard as chief operating officer; Sid Lyons as executive vice president; Franklin McLaughlin as senior vice president of operations; Nicholas Knight as senior vice president of global resources; Rod Warmke as executive vice president; Mike Foster as vice president of Operations; Chris Rosson as director of global business administration; Barret Lemaire as director of information technology; and Chris Camos as vice president of real estate and construction.

Broussard was vice president of fishing services and rental tool services. Lyons was vice president of sales. McLaughlin was senior vice president of Knight Resources. Knight was vice president. Warmke was director of operations-mid-continent region for the rental tool services business unit.

Foster was regional vice president-South America. Rosson was global business manager. Lemaire was network manager. Camos was promoted from a domestic to global role with the same title.

Greene’s Energy Group in Lafayette has promoted Blayne Prejean to operations manager of Cherokee Services, a division of the company. He was assistant operations manager.

Lauren Jardell has been promoted to vice president of government relations and operations at Sabiston Consultants. Jardell was an associate.

Marc Nuar has been named a senior solutions designer at Solutient, heading its information technology services business unit in the development of new business opportunities and the support of IT clients.

Nuar was IT project manager and business analyst at GCR and Associates Inc. in New Orleans.

Bob Brown, managing director of the Business Council of New Orleans & the River Region, will transition to a consulting role effective Dec. 31. He has been managing director for six years.

Gov. Bobby Jindal has made appointments and reappointments from the local area to several state boards and commissions.
