A 29-year-old Baton Rouge man accused of robbing three men at gunpoint outside their apartment on March 18 and firing shots at them, has been arrested.
East Baton Rouge Parish sheriff’s deputies booked Kelatrell Rayon Scott, 14130 E. Azalea Ave., into Parish Prison on three counts each of attempted first-degree murder and armed robbery, according to an affidavit warrant.
The three victims were sitting on the patio when a man walked up with a black pistol and robbed them of more than $2,000 in cash, an iPhone and a passport before running off, the warrant says.
When the robber saw the victims chasing him, he fired four shots that all missed, the warrant says.
Baton Rouge police Thursday arrested a man accused of inappropriately touching a then 7-year-old girl on Jan. 2.
Police booked Donald Ray Smith, 31, 3303 Alliquipa St., Baton Rouge, into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on one count of molestation of a juvenile, according to an affidavit warrant.
When the girl, who is now 8, told Smith to stop, he told her not to tell anyone about the incident because if she did, he would deny it, the warrant says.
Authorities arrested at least three people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and 2:30 p.m. Thursday, booking records show.
