Jeremy George, seen at New Orleans Fashion Week

NAME: Jeremy George, of New Orleans

AGE: 28

OCCUPATION: Fashion stylist and personal shopper

Tell us about what you’re wearing. “My blazer is a thrift store find. I’ve paired it with a Tommy Hilfiger shirt, pants from Express and a belt by Urban Outfitters. My shoes are by Stanford for JCPenney.”

What’s the best fashion advice you’ve ever gotten? “Fashion is something that can be taught; Style comes from within, you either have it or you don’t.”

What’s your favorite trend right now? “Urban Gothic chic — simple, monochrome, edgy…”

Finish these sentences: I splurge on ... “Staple pieces because a great staple piece is timeless and versatile.”

I skimp on ... “Socks, because who wants to spend $50 on a pair of socks?”

What’s your favorite accessory — shoes, ties, etc? “Bandanas — it can be a pocket square or a headband or a bracelet. The options are endless.”

How many do you have? “I have bandanas in every color you can think of.”

Name a celebrity whose closet you’d like to raid. “Kanye West, his style is so versatile and very similar to mine.”

What’s the one beauty product you can’t live without? “Olay Daily Facials Lathering Cleansing Cloths. They do wonders on my face!”

What was your worst fashion mistake? “Trying to wear every trend of the season in one outfit. I have a rule — one or two trends per look.”

Your house is on fire and you can grab only one thing out of your closet; what would it be? “My vintage black fur coat that I found at a thrift store for $25 … that’s a steal!”
