Beta Lambda Chapter of Kappa Kappa Iota, a professional teacher’s organization, held its monthly meeting at Linda Pearce’s home on Feb. 28.

Members gathered to enjoy refreshments, celebrate member birthdays and decorate cookie cakes for the Denham Springs Police Department and Livingston Parish Sherriff’s Office.

Denham Springs Chief of Police Scott Jones and Deputy Aaron Bond picked up the cakes and delivered them to their departments. Attendees were greeted at the meeting by the hostesses Linda Pearce and Jeanette Bencaz.
