Daughters of Charity Services of New Orleans hosted its second annual “Keeping Our Promises” gala March 9 at First NBC Bank, 210 Baronne St.

The event featured live music by Tanya Boutte and Friends, delicious food by The Kitchen, specialty cocktails by Glazer’s of Louisiana, a silent auction with some unique offerings and the Inspired Cross Awards Presentation.

Sally-Ann Roberts, co-anchorwoman of WWL-TV Channel 4’s Eyewitness Morning News, served as emcee. Holley Haag and Julio Rodriguez served as co-chairs.

The 2013 Inspired Cross Award recipients were Clarence Adams Sr., of Ozanam Inn; Sharon Alexis, of The Salvation Army; and Dr. Robert Marier, of the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners.

The award is presented annually to individuals and organizations who work with DCSNO to “keep its promises” to provide health care for those in need, and to transform health care through innovation and courage.

The gala also serves as a fundraiser to support DCSNO’s mission to improve the health status of the community and provide high quality, compassionate care for all — the insured, underinsured and uninsured.

The 2013 Creativity Sponsors included Ascension Health, Curry & Friend PLC, First NBC Bank, and LaCare. Reverence Sponsors included The Fisher Consulting Group and Liberty Bank.
