Police accuse woman of making prank calls

Baton Rouge police arrested a 31-year-old woman accused of making several 911 prank calls in a 24-hour span, including one Sunday in which she called in a fire with children trapped inside.

Police booked Crystal Harris, 3815 Eden St., Baton Rouge, into Parish Prison on one count of terrorizing, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

She admitted to police that she placed the calls because she wanted to “get everyone to respond to this location,” the affidavit says.
