Southern won’t face Wiley on Tuesday

The Southern baseball team has the week off before traveling to face rival Grambling in a three-game Southwestern Athletic Conference series.

The Jaguars had originally scheduled a game against Wiley College on Tuesday afternoon, but it was canceled before the start of the season.

Southern’s series against Grambling includes two Saturday games beginning at noon, followed by the series finale at 1 p.m. Sunday.

The Jaguars, who are 7-7 overall and 3-3 in SWAC play, resume midweek action March 19 at Louisiana-Lafayette.
