Pelican Point is a resort-style golf course community just down Interstate 10 in Gonzales. The stucco and brick home on the parkway has a tall front elevation with a huge palm tree just to the left of the entrance. Another seven palms are scattered in front and back, and a two-car garage with a large golf cart bay is in front to the right.
Inside the residence, oak planks floor the foyer and formal dining room, located immediately to the right. Ahead is the carpeted living room, where tall windows overlook a covered rear porch as well as a big courtyard that steps down closer to the lake. In all, it’s a great setup for outdoor entertaining.
Tall arches frame the dining room and foyer when viewed from the living room, and the arches are repeated on the back porch, which has a stained and scored concrete floor. The living room’s granite tile fireplace has built-ins on both sides, including an entertainment cabinet on the right.
That’s also the direction to the master bedroom, which is in the back part of the residence with a view of the lake. There are also separate vanities with beveled-edge mirrors, and a glass-walled walk-in shower. The master closet has lots of hanging space and cubbies and a built-in dresser.
