Family Service

Family Service of Greater Baton Rouge, 4727 Revere Ave., will offer counseling services for children, individuals and families who need help with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and relationship problems from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

Wheels to Succeed is looking for volunteers for its 5th annual “No Such Thing as Impossible” bike ride, which will be at 8 a.m. Sunday, March 17, at West Feliciana Sports Park, St. Francisville.

Sisters Network

Sisters Network Baton Rouge, an affiliate chapter of the national African-American breast cancer survivorship organization, will host a one-day conference from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Second Baptist Church, 914 North Acadian Thruway.

The conference is part of a 10-day conference tour by Sisters Network Inc. and will focus on triple negative and advanced breast cancer. Speakers will be Dr. B. Jay Brooks, Jr. chairman for the Department of Hematology and Oncology at Ochsner Clinic, and Dr. Deborah Abernathy, medical oncologist and hematologist.
