Sundowners, the Baton Rouge chapter of the African Violet Society of America, holds its 33rd annual show from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Baton Rouge Garden Center, 7950 Independence Blvd.
Admission is free.
Designs using violets in the theme “Violets Visit the Enchanted Forest” will be on exhibit. The exhibits are inspired by “Grimm’s Fairy Tales.”
A workshop on growing African violets will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday. Good starter plants will be on sale both days of the show.
