Elena Moreno Keegan believes yoga is one of the best forms of exercise because it balances and strengthens the body and mind and can be done at any age or fitness level. Begin each session by centering – standing or seated, close eyes and become aware of your breath for a minute or two. In each pose, try to take 3-5 slow, deep breaths. Move slowly and only do what feels good.
Keegan, a Registered Yoga Teacher and Integrative Life Coach, has been teaching hatha yoga for more than 17 years to all ages – from 3 year olds in Montessori to seniors.
In addition to her Yoga Alliance membership, Keegan holds certifications in Pre-natal yoga, Cardiac Yoga for heart patients and Resistance Flexibility Training.
