This group needs help refurbishing donated bikes to be given away to homeless people in the community. Prior experience working on bikes is not necessary. The event provides visitors the opportunity to explore the vast world of geology, and includes activities and displays about rocks, gemstones, minerals and fossils. It will be held from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Help is needed in the Stone Craft Corner, Treasure Trail, Gold Mine or at a check-in table. For more information, contact Dixon.
TREES AND TRAILS, LSU AgCenter’s Burden Center — Penny Miller, (225) 937-3632 or TntDocents@gmail.com: Trees and Trails is looking for additional volunteers to help guide fourth- through seventh-grade students through the trails at Burden for environmental and nature lessons. The 12 spring sessions will be held from late March through mid-May, primarily on Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays. Volunteers can select the days that work best with their schedules.

Volunteers are needed to serve in the drink, ticket and carnival ride booths, as well as serving as runners, parking attendants, parking pass/collections attendants and more. Become a volunteer with Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge. Receptionist and clerical volunteer opportunities are available Monday through Friday.
