Restaurants across New Orleans will feature a special dish on their menus from Friday to March 10.
The “Dish that Makes a Difference” was dreamed up by an outstanding NOCCA Culinary Arts student, Sierra Torres, a ninth-grader.
Chefs and restaurateurs selected Torres’ Spicy Lemongrass Grilled Shrimp with Strawberry Glazed Pork Ribs and Strawberry Crab Kimchee to feature for this event.
Participating restaurants include Emeril’s Delmonico, Eat New Orleans, Red Fish Grill and NOLA.
A portion of proceeds from every dish will be donated to the NOCCA Institute to support Louisiana’s next generation of culinary artists.
