Denham Springs DL Tevin Lawson to sign with TCU

Denham Springs High defensive lineman Tevin Lawson is scheduled to sign with TCU at 1 p.m. Friday at the school, according to DSHS coach Dru Nettles.

The 6-foot-4, 270-pound Lawson committed to LSU last spring and then wound up looking at other options after the Tigers asked him to take grayshirt offer instead of signing earlier this month.

Since early February, Lawson, a two-way lineman in high school, picked up numerous scholarship offers and also made visits to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Kentucky and TCU.
