District V regents met on Jan. 21 at Trey Yuen Restaurant in Hammond to finish plans for the Louisiana Daughters of the American Revolution State Conference to be held March 21-23 at LSU’s Lod Cook Conference Center.
District V Director Gaye Stanga, of Mandeville, led the meeting, assisted by State Regent Bonnie Pepper Cook, of Metairie. The regents discussed responsibilities for registration, gift baskets, meals, decorations and receptions. Daily calendars were reviewed and each chapter was assigned a role.
Regents in attendance represented the Iberville Parish Chapter of Plaquemine, Pierre de Mandeville Chapter of Mandeville, Baton Rouge Chapter of Baton Rouge, Halimah Chapter of Amite, John James Audubon Chapter of Baton Rouge, Heirome Gaines Chapter of Baton Rouge, St. Tammany Chapter of Slidell and Wharton Chapter of Covington.
