The LSU baseball team, behind a six-run eighth inning, increased its record to 4-0 with an 8-1 victory against Lamar 8-1 at Alex Box Stadium.

LSU's Mason Katz broke open a 1-1 game with a RBI-double in the bottom of the sixth to give LSU a 2-1 lead.

The Tigers blew the game open two innings later with six runs on 2 hits, 6 walks, three wild pitches, one sacrifice fly.
