Letter: Advocate statement ‘out of the park’

The Advocate’s strong statements about the necessity for scrutiny regarding Mayor Kip Holden’s firing of Baton Rouge Police Chief Dewayne White “hit it out of the park.”

Chief White, in fighting his firing at an upcoming appeal hearing, is following the courage of his convictions. That, in and of itself, is quite telling.
