CLINTON — Officials of East Feliciana Parish Water District 7 announced that water supplied to customers on five rural roads in the northeast corner of the parish should be boiled or otherwise disinfected before it is used for drinking or food preparation.
The advisory about possible contamination of the water supply was issued Monday night for residents on La. 422, Kent Road, Bulls Lane, Friel Lane and Davis Lane, a notice from the district says.
The water district will rescind the “boil advisory” when the state Office of Public Health notifies the district that samples of water from the system were tested and found to be safe, the notice says.
