LIVINGSTON — Deputies arrested Albany High School former head football coach Bradley N. Ficklin on Friday and booked him with theft and malfeasance in office, the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office reported.
Ficklin was accused of failing to turn in $4,000 he raised between Aug. 1 and Dec. 18 to buy an inflatable tunnel for the football team, sheriff’s spokeswoman Lori Steele said in a news release.
The money was never deposited into the team’s account and Albany High eventually purchased the tunnel with separate funds, Steele said.
Deputies booked Ficklin, 34, 30526 N. Willow, Livingston, into Livingston Parish Jail on one count of malfeasance in office and six counts of theft, Steele said.
