On bended knee

NOPD Officer Andrew Waldron, who rode a horse in Thursday's Muses Parade, made a quick sto tp find his muse -- girlfriend Tara Myers -- and propose. Waldron had arranged to have some of his and Tara's family members along the parade route for the big moment.  He dismounted, got down on one knee and poppped the question. She accepted. Waldron, a homicide detective, is part of the mounted unit for Mardi Gras. He has been on the force nearly five years.
