“Go Coast,” a series by WLAE-TV, Channel 32 in New Orleans, will debut its Vermilion Parish episode at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Host Tom Gregory will find out how the Cajuns came to Louisiana, visit Abbeville’s Giant Omelette Celebration and watch the endangered whooping crane’s return to the state. He’ll also catch musicians D.L. Menard and Michael Juan Nunez playing live at an old livestock auction house and hit the stage at a Cajun music jam in Erath.
Food, of course, will also be highlighted.
