Krewe of Eve royal court in Mandeville: ‘It’s all Greek’

Corinna A. Hayden reigned as Queen Eve XXVII in the Krewe of Eve’s 27th annual Mardi Gras parade, in Mandeville on Feb. 1. The theme was “It’s All Greek to Me.”

King Adam XXVII was Randy R. Hayden.

Serving as royal maids and dukes this year were: Gina Decareaux and Terry A. Decareaux, of Lacombe; Heather Rietschel and Eric L. Rietschel, of Covington; Donna Varnado and Anthony J. Varnado, of Mandeville; and Melissa Varnado and Casey D. Varnado, of Abita Springs.

Junior maids were: Kendall Marie Baecher, niece of Bonnie Boettner and David Morgan, of Mandeville; Korey Breanne Hymel, daughter of Kim Hymel and Michael Hymel, of Hammond; Brianna Marie Morreal, daughter of Katie Foster and Robert Foster; and Jourdyn Elizabeth Rice, godchild of Randy and Fredrick Lawshe, of Mandeville.

Pages to Her Royal Majesty were: Phoebe Ann Endriss, daughter of Amy and Rich Endriss, of Mandeville; Meghan Elizabeth King, granddaughter of Joan Smith, of Mandeville; and Paige Avery McManaman, granddaughter of Bridget and Steve Smolich, of Mandeville.
