Hall of Fame nominations
The Denham Springs High School Athletic Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for its third class of inductees. Nominations for the Class of 2013 will be accepted between Friday and March 29.
During its first two years, the Hall of Fame inducted 29 Yellow Jacket sports greats, representing 22 of the most heralded male and female athletes in school history along with six of its most successful coaches. The Hall also inducted its only member in the “supporter” category, organizer Jim Spring said.
Nominations must conform to the Hall of Fame nomination guidelines available at http://www.denhamhs.lpsb.org. A copy can also be picked up at the high school, at 1000 N. Range Ave.
